Oh this death
Moment by moment
Darker and darker
Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

Oh this death
Moment by moment
Darker and darker
Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

We've been going back and forth for a long time
We often did the right thing at the wrong time
We have hurt the ones that we love the most
Till I wonder did we ever get that close

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

I've been getting over you since the day we met
It might have been as simple as the way we met
Must we live in anger and in shame
Why must we always try to place the blame

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

I've been getting over you since the day we met
It might have been as simple as the way we met
Must we live in anger and in shame
Must we always try to place the blame

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

From fear to fear
From madness to madness
Everything here has been hidden and guarded
From tear to tear
From address to address
I'm on borrowed time and I'm lost and discarded

I can't decipher the questions you ask
I wouldn't blame you for taking me to task
It's hard to move freely in this cubist thing we did
Fractured and slanted ellipse as pyramid
And I'm grateful to you for every hard thing you've done
I'll never replace you next to you there is no one

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

Oh this death Moment by moment
Darker and darker Down and down

I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH
I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH

Am I the only person who hears a remarkable similarity to Rodney Crowell?

Not at all - good catch :)  The vocals are similar

I always thought he was singing about "feeling cold breasts"....why were they cold I questioned ?

I've heard mention of TBB but have never heard the music...this is purty dang hot off to itunes, dollars away! Record companies, I hope you are listening as much as we are on RP
Itunes is the biggest ripoff to perpetrate the music industry! Go to your LOCAL record store. Buy the album for a few dollars more and you get .WAV files that are 10 times better than mp4 files. In fact, there is nothing better than WAV files for sound quality, except for vinyl on a high end system. Rip the CD for your ipod and have the CD for the car or the home. Itunes is just convenient which is the American way. I want it now. I want it fast. Quality? Who needs quality? Itunes is rubbish!
oh alright... I just spent March's music budget.

Reminds me of hot chicks makin' circles with their hips.
Disturbing? T-Bone hit a nerve with this album, a sound so new to me, so penetrating. I cried with I first heard this tune. Blaring it as I drove down the street, tears running down my cheek. "I feel your cold breath..." This is one of the best songs about how it feels to go through a break up of souls. "Oh this death Moment by moment Darker and darker Down and down I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH I FEEL YOUR COLD BREATH We've been going back and forth for a long time We often did the right thing at the wrong time We have hurt the ones that we love the most Till I wonder did we ever get that close ... I feel your cold breath. Hey Bill, if you read this, play another tune from that album! How about SEVEN TIMES HOTTER THAN FIRE ;-)
T-Bone is one of the coolest geeks ever (and that's the highest possible compliment)! Love this!

Ah, you too feel the cold breath of Death on the nape of your neck. We all feel it, you know .. only some of us stupidly choose to ignore it.
I hope he feels my corn bread again at hardly stictly bluegrass festival (click here) this year. I'm going again just to see if Keltner is still playing with him live...

Just saw him about a year ago touring for this album. What a great show! Incredible live band, including the incomparable Jim Keltner on drums.
How lucky you are to have seen him live! Cool! :jealous:
