I dig love
I dig love
I dig love
Hm, I dig love in the morning
I dig love in the evening
I dig love and I want you to know I dig love
I love dig
I love dig
I love dig
Hm, I love dig in the morning
I love dig every evening
I dig love and I want you to know I dig love
Small love, big love, I don't care
Love's all good love to me
Left love, right love, anywhere love
There's a rare love, come on and get it, it's free
I dig love
I dig love
I dig love
Hm, I dig love in the morning
I dig love in the evening
I dig love and I want you to know I dig love
Bought love, short love, in any port
Love's always there to see
Make love, take love, but you should give love
And try to live love, come on that's where you should be
I dig love
I dig love
I dig love
Hm, I dig love in the morning
I dig love in the evening
I dig love and I want you to know I dig love
Yes, I want you to know I dig love
Yes, I want you to know I dig love
To know I dig love
Yes, I do
I dig love (repeat and fade)
I dig love
I dig love
Hm, I dig love in the morning
I dig love in the evening

I like Mikhail Boyarsky
Dig Ringo's distinctive "Come Together"-like drum fills on this.
Nice to hear this gem on RP!

The importance of enunciation: I thought he was saying "I deglove," which means something not very nice or loving.

I thought it was John at first

Too funny; I was just thinking this was a very Lennon-sounding song. Probably intentional (in a good way).
But you mistake George for John. Shows his influence is more deeply rooted than credited.

What fun to hear this classic again!
I dig love too
LOVE
a song to dig the garden for - might find love - if I was looking. Must have taken him 10 minutes to pen the words

Great sequence here! Great mix and thanks again, Bill!
i need it to stop
Sounds alot like The Rutles
Sounds like Lennon staff a lot.
From my favorite George album. It's a shame the Beatles weren't the Beatles at this time. I think this song could have used a little tweaking from John or Paul.

Is Bill celebrating the anniversary of the Beatles 1962 audition at Abbey Road?

I dig this song... that is, until he tries to get all John Lennon with "I love dig."
I also dig gnomes.

Its a nice ditty.
Nothing special.
"I Dig Love"?
OK, hard to argue with that, any time of day.
Maybe not Rush Limbaugh?

Just make it stop already. Crikey.

Hold on... so you're saying he digs love? I didn't get that from this song at all.
As for his "look" during this period, did you ever see the poster that came with this album? Sheez...
"I want you to know I dig love". We get it, George. You say it enough times.

Good song. It's funny how old he looked on this cover with that beard and hair. He was only 27 or so at the time.

I dig hair...and purple boots!

Yeah. George normally had a better sense of style than that. Not sure what happened during this period. Great album, though.

So cool! Like a lot of songs I haven't heard for years and years, I get a new appreciation when they pop up on RP.
Wow, haven't heard this in 30 years, at least. When the opening notes rolled into my headphones I had that moment of "Oh, this can't be 'I Dig Love' from George Harrison, can it?"

Love this song and this album.
I fear that he was not hitting on all cylinders here. Not sure what sort of tuneup was needed, but he definitely did better than this.

Wow I have actually never heard this piece before! Not one of George's best, but not one of his worst either, quite enjoyable.

i guess there had to be an example of how good of a regulating force the beatles were for george. this never would have made it onto a beatles album.
When this first came out I didn't like it and now after decades later hearing again - I still don't like it. Definitely didn't improve with age.
AGREED!!!!

O yes. When I first bought this album, 1st release, thought it was not very great, but like a sturdy old oak tree, Harrison's All Things Must Pass stands as one of the world's finest collection of songs ever. Bewar of Darkness is especially cosmic and spritual and is a great reminder to, Be Happy, Don't Worry.
I don't quite understand the low ratings here. I think 7 and I really dig this album a lot. Plus the cover rools....
this entire album is just so personal, and powerful, and haunting. Missing GH...
Obscure GH. Cool.
