Awesome band,song writer - so underratted and appreciated by the masses. Too bad for them, I always liked bands that were not well known. Probably started with Little Feat. Rock and Roll Dr -RIP

This one's always bittersweet to me in that this was released several months after Lowell's passing. This cut opens the album and Lowell's opening conversation with the bullfrog would be the last of his "cartoon consciousness" and humor that we would hear from one of my all-time heroes of rock. Love it just the same. R.I.P. Lowell and Richie!

I just can't stop laughing at the beginning of this song!  The beat is great, the words are devilishly clever, the instrumentals are typically dead-on Little Feat - but darn it, that guy telling the frog to shut up is just hysterically funny to me!  Like trying to win a stare-down with a cat. Exactly, Lowell was working on his solo record and dealing with discord within the Feats. This record was completed after his untimely passing and I've since come to find out that what I thought was Lowell's slide work on this tune was actually Fred Tackett's playing. Though I still like the song, I'm disappointed that I'm not listening to some of Lowell's last tastey slide riffs.

Yea, this LP gets knocked for it.  George was busy during most of the recroding, and I think he died before it was finished so this effort was a little unfocused.  But I still like a lot of it including this one!
