Was it something I did
In another life?
I try and try
But nothing comes out right
Bad Karma
Killing me by degrees

I took a wrong turn
On the astral plane
Now I keep on thinkin'
My luck is gonna change
Someday
Bad Karma
It's uphill all the way

I can't run, Can't hide
Can't get away
It must be my destiny
The same thing happens to me every day

Bad Karma
Coming after me
Bad Karma
Killing me by degrees
Bad Karma
Bad Karma

It's a dog's life
And it's not my fault
Ought to hang my picture
In the All Time Losers' Hall of Fame
Bad Karma
It's a low down dirty shame

I can't run,
Can't hide
Can't get away
It must be my destiny
The same thing happens to me every day

Bad Karma
Coming after me
Bad Karma
Killing me by degrees
Bad Karma
Bad Karma

It's ridiculous that he's not in the R&R HOF.

Doesn't really matter.  He's more important than what that place represents.
Growing up I always new the ones who died to soon before my time. It's tougher as an adult to have the great ones pass in the same time line as you.  Loved Zevon.  And love David Letterman for treating him so well.

Ridiculous but not surprising.

Warren Zevon was a treasure and his early death was a tragedy. He was a songwriter of rare genius.

Let's say that 99% is R.E.M. w/o Stipe but formally you're right.

I was walking on a local beach-side walkway, on a crowded summer Saturday evening, with some friends. A lady walked in front of us, with a tiny, tiny "rat-dog" on a leash. The little thing had to walk so quickly to keep up its legs were blurred. I commented casually to my friend that the dog could easily fit under the sole of my shoe if I took a sudden step forward... "Whoa, man," a passing, scruffy fellow commented, "That's bad karma for you!" ———— I would love to have a dog named Karma. "Good Karma!" "Bad Karma!" "Karma, come to me!"

might want to keep it on the down low, I got blasted by someone for saying that werewolf in London song was a parody and that I rated it a 1

"scruffy" should give his head a shake and get some more info. An informed view would be that the mere thought would generate little. The things our mind can throw up! It's what we do with it, our actions that generate "karma" , in this context, potential reactions. Go ahead and use "Karma" as a name if you wish. Buddhists, when they "take refuge" and become Buddhists, are often given "dharma names". In my school of Tibetan Buddhism we are often given "Karma" (This or That). Here it means "the activity of"(This or That)

Immortalized or not, this is not a very good song. Very poor use of the sitar, IMO.

:( a moment of silence for the late, great, Warren Zevon
Dang, all these years and I never heard this song before?!? I *love* this! I'm clickin' through and buyin' THIS album! Ironic that before he passed, I'd only bought 1 of his albums! #-o

It's a low-down dirty shame, Oh yeah.
This is what I love about Radioparadise.com. You can hear some of the lesser-played songs by artists. It's also great to hear Warren Zevon when he was still healthy.
ok, the guy is dead... does that obligate RP to play his (cough) music?
Good Bye Warren

how about Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner or Werewolves of London? I was raised on Warren Zevon so this is definitely bringing me back to my childhood!! :D
Go Warren!!!
as usual an incredibly interesting choice given his current medical problems
My karma just ran over someone\'s dogma...
:D :D :D Anything by Warren Zevon, anytime is cool.
