In my silence
I would love to forget
Restitution
Hasn't come quite yet

And with one accord
I keep pushin' forth
I stretch my heart
To heal some more

It used to be all I'd want
To learn
Was wisdom, trust and truth
But now all I really want
To learn
Is forgiveness for you

As my seasons change, I've now
Grown to know
When ones heart creates, ones soul
Doesn't owe

An' so I wash away
Stains of yesterday
Then tempt my heart
With love's display

It used to be all I'd want
To learn
Was wisdom, trust and truth
Now all I really want
To learn
Is forgiveness for you

It used to be all I'd want
To learn
Was wisdom, trust and truth
Now all I really want
To learn
Is forgiveness for you

It used to be all I'd want
To learn
Was wisdom, trust and truth
Now all I really want
To learn
Is forgiveness for you

I think therefore I am.

catchy tunes but a bit to packaged and generic for my taste- sort of like creed. bring on the real musicians!
They write all the lyrics and music, and play the instruments, and sing. I don't see how they could be any more "real".
These guys were great in concert, and if you give their lyrics patience , they show they are quite deep and brave. They wear their hearts out there, and they can also jam -- other songs moreso, especially on Dosage... Play it like you feel, Bill, right on!
On to the next song please...

Why does the Devil continue to let these guys make music?
The same reason he lets you breathe
i keep on trying to change the station... to RP.
I'm quite certain that if I use Google I'll find the template these guys use for all their songs.
Didn\'t the Collective Soul singer used to sound alot more like Peter Gabriel?

Offtopic: Well, I\'m glad I\'m not the only one who sees the similarity between Del Amitri and Blues Traveler -- but John Popper is a member of the latter, not the aft-mentioned former. FYI
For a second I thought I heard Robbie Williams singing...
rp is all over collective soul, it seems. don\'t care for them usually, but this song is serviceable. you should play some brad, or satchel instead.

Yes, I have seen these guys 5-6 times, an excellent live show. ;)
I was thinking this guy\'s vocals are similar to John Popper\'s in the higher register. Not a good thing in my book.

No, but I can hear why you'd think that. And I like Del Amitri as much as I like Collective Soul and that's a lot!
Is this Del Amitri ?
Did we change the DJ? Do\'n a great job here.

I like these guys. Some critics have called them the REO Speedwagon of the 90\'s generation. While I don\'t argue that they haven\'t been entirely consistent over the years, (Blender was a spectacular disappointment) they certainly don\'t seem worthy of such a harsh stigma. Dosage is a spectacular album. I\'d love to hear some of the more obscure tracks such as \"Needs\" or \"No More, No Less\".
great song. IMHO, one of the better bands in the last 10 yrs or so. see them live if you get the chance.
I like these guys. Always have good melodies. Kevin
Such good music until you've heard it more than once.
