Look, he's crawling up my wall
Black and hairy, very small
Now he's up above my head
Hanging by a little thread

Boris the spider
Boris the spider

Now he's dropped on to the floor
Heading for the bedroom door
Maybe he's as scared as me
Where's he gone now, I can't see

Boris the spider
Boris the spider

Creepy, crawly
Creepy, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly

There he is wrapped in a ball
Doesn't seem to move at all
Perhaps he's dead, I'll just make sure
Pick this book up off the floor

Boris the spider
Boris the spider

Creepy, crawly
Creepy, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly
Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly

He's come to a sticky end
Don't think he will ever mend
Never more will he crawl 'round
He's embedded in the ground

Boris the spider

This song was always the 'funny' song when they played live.  Entwhistle always ended up the song by stomping on Boris.
Creepy crawly!

Wow, here it is 5 years later and I come in here to post almost precisely the same thing. :)
Halloween?
John E. had a phobia about spiders, which is why this was for him. He had a marvelous spider necklace that can be seen in some of his pictures.
Never heard this before. Awesome!
"Spiders In The Dressing Room" by Toy Dolls would be perfect after this.
fucking brilliant!
ARACHNIPHOBIA

Love the Who, but this song never made it out of the 60's.
Well thanks to Halloween songs on RP, or Bill, it's finally emerged...and quite a find it is
Hey, great tribute to John Entwistle, who wrote and sang this song. Being so attentive, makes RP special. Hard to realize the Ox is gone. Jimi Hendrix\' favourite Who song, I believe!
Love the Who, but this song never made it out of the 60\'s.
