Golden waves in all directions, I could lose my soul right here
Colour lights on the runway makes a stranger feel unchained

I'm running after time & I miss the sunshine
Summer days will come, happiness will be mine
I'm lost in my words, I don't know where I'm going
I do the best I can not to worry about things

I feel loose, I feel haggard, don't know what I'm looking for
Something true, something lovely that will make me feel alive

I'm running after time and I miss the sunshine
Summer days will come, happiness will be mine
I'm lost in my words, I don't know where I'm going
I do the best I can not to worry about things

Like a vagabond in the distance looking for a song to sing
A song that will last all night and for the rest of our lives
I'm lost in my words, I don't know where I'm going
I do the best I can not to worry about things

I'm running after time and I miss the sunshine
Summer days will come, happiness will be mine
I'm lost in my words, I don't know where I'm going
I do the best I can not to worry about things

I'm running after time and I miss the sunshine
Summer days will come, happiness will be mine

I generally like Air and Beck, but this particular song holds no appeal to me. I think it's the incessant "chirping synth" (which seems to creep into a lot of the Air music I've heard here on RP) that is the final straw for me on this one.
Oh, Come now. Air is a great band and its nice to hear Beck in this nice atmosphere.

Couldn't agree more... I'm a huge fan of both Beck and Air and nearly creamed my pants in anticipation of 10,000 Hz when I heard a rumor before it was released that Beck would contribute. I loved Moon Safari and The Virgin Suicides Soundtrack, but the last two albums have been dreadfull, I guess the success and praise that Air received early on got to their head and gave them poetic license to be crappy and even more experimental then they already are.

\"Oh shit\" is right.
Cool~ (pimp)
yeah, great stuff, also check out the fantastic DVD Eating, Sleeping, Waiting and Playing, by Mike Mills, featuring their clips, a doco, and art etc. Sean Lennon supports them on a gig in NYC I think, which is a nice partnership.

I don't think RP is the right place for this kind of humour. Each one has its own opinion
a great track, seen Air live twice, very very good..

sorry
Beck could take a rubber band, tin foil, and a spoon a make a kick ass song out of it

...what a groove.... (though the chirp at the end needed to stop NO later than when it did)
uhhh...could someone hit the \"repeat\" button.
Very smoooooooth... be sure to check out the albums from Air... they\'re a french band and used to be my favorites some two or three years ago... their album \"Moon Safari\" is still one of the records I like most of all... ! :)
