Hmmm.... I'm getting a feel, the jazz selections dispersed in the playlists , have a feel of winter holidays. I like it much better than Rudolf / white Christmas / etc repeated every couple of hours. Not sure if that is what you are doing Bill, but it's a nice mix. Kind of like Jethro Tull's 'Songs from the Woods', being harvest holiday/solstice, but somehow not the same as the corny Christmas songs 24/7.

Unfortunately I'm not a big jazz fan...
But this album (along with just about anything from Chet Baker) is fabulous .
Wonderful music that has stood the test of time. I remember it from the early sixties, my dad lying on the floor in front of the old console, me putting my eye up to the red diamond on the corner of the speaker. My introduction to jazz. It still swings.

Jesus Christ, thats pure torture. Just been in the shower and was forced to listen to this. Never have been that fast showering in order to reach the PSD button.
Aargh! Another of these songs where hitting PSD does nothing - you just can't stop it playing. It's a conspiracy by hipster jazzophiles, I reckon :(

Yep. That's the way I thought at age 17. Then I really listened. It's not too late for anyone.This album completely altered my notion of what jazz and music could be.
