I try to believe what I feel these days
It makes life much easier for me
It's hard to decide what is real these days
When things look so dizzy to me
I already know my children's, children's faces
Voices that I've heard before
There's always more, there's always more

Wandering, leaving the sea behind
To my home which everybody owns
Wandering, wandering
Where we can do what we please, wandering

I feel like a thousand years have passed
I'm younger than I used to be
I feel like the world is my home at last
I know everyone that I meet
Somewhere in the music I can hear the bells
I heard a thousand years before
There's always more, there's always more

Wandering, is this there all there is?
Since I was, since I began to be
Wandering, wandering
Where we can do what we please, wandering

fiveteen years ago.... I mean. fiveteen years ago. There was Radio Paradise.
Netflix was still shelving out DVD, Google hardly existed. Russia and America was still connected over the Baring-street, and live on earth consisted of oblivious bacteria...
Love this album.......except that last track/cover, naturally. 😁

Would be great to hear the title track, especially The Eno Mix ! 👍

Although Skye Edwards has collaborated with Massive Attack, I believe the singer on this track is Nicolette (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolette_(musician))

What's up with the armpit farts in the middle of the song?
Wow. Finally a piece that does not come from the CD with the ugly insect.

Reminds me a little of Portishead ?

As usual from them, a different, very cool, and decidedly trippy tune. The quirky vocals remind me of Miho Hatori of Ciba Matto.

This is Nicolette

It's amazing to me how much the 50mm "drivers" on my earbuds bump with this track (and a lot of MA's output) - almost sounds like I'm in the backseat of my truck bumping this on the big speakers.  Huh....still only garners a 7 rating but damn that's some good beats!!  Long Live RP!!

(and followed up by Bob Moses' "Grace" which also bumps pretty good)

Or in other words you had to look up to see the floor?  Been there, done that.  Happy to say I moved on.  Physically speaking that's a good thing, too.  Looking back I sometimes wonder how I survived certain periods.  More thru luck than effort.  But I digress.....not taking anything away from this tune, 'tis a nice one.

Unfortunately, I quit pot before this genre came around.  And vodka alone just wouldn't do it.

It's good!   {#Yes}
I generally adore most Massive Attack. This I could take or leave.

+props to the Casio, though, brings back some great memories! Ah, sampling!
This group always catches me by surprise.... then I realize who it is. I like anything and everything they do... tho one time I played 4 songs in a row and became very confused. I keep the dosage lower now.
every hour, on the hour?

seems like it, from time to time.
The beat's making me want this song to be Hooverphonic/No More Sweet Music.  This is awesome, too, but perhaps that can be next?

Check out what Casio is doing these days. For a few hundred you can get a keyboard that rivals many grands.

Very James Bondesque.

I hear Beth Gibbons (Portis...) singing this and kicking butt ...

I've always felt they were a very soundtrack to life sort of sound. But then again they do a lot of soundtrack work. Their stuff for Unleashed/Danny the Dog was great.
Really liking the Trip Hop feel here .... Massive Attack is sooooo Friday. Thankee

Me like this. Fits well into the eclectic mix of influences of the trip-hop sound, which to my ears is the most vital and musically viable of the musical schools to emerge from the 90's musical scenes.
Turn that Pong machine down!
This sample and syth on valium stuff gets old real fast.

Pretty good, there are better ones from Massive Attack though.

yum.
Are those real strings? Does it matter because it is nicely done? But, at the end especially, they sound like my Mac's Garage Band software.
Great lyrics, great melody, great string arrangement, great bass line, great beat, great choice of soundscapes. Love this song.
one of their classics!
seriously - get massive attack vs. mad professor "No Protection" excellent remixes of these tracks - better than the original tracks IMHO
