Funny that you should mention the Rod Stewart thing... At an acoustic Show in New York 2 years ago Kelly Jones the singer told the crowd that a lot of people tell him that he sounds like Rod & as a joke he played a cheesy Rod Stewart Song... Pretty funny stuff..

Reminds me of Rod Stewart Too, only not as smarmy-has been-y, long ago abandoned serious rock and roll for cream-cheesiousness, schlock. Lose the tux, Rod! You were once great, but now only pseudo sweet, like saccharine.

If only the "singer" had taken more cough syrup before coming into the studio. Bob Dylan's voice is pleasanter. I have to mute this boring, irritating selection. Maybe the "singer" will lose his voice forever and all copies of this will spontaneously combust.

Mandolin Wind is one of my fav RS songs. His old stuff was excellent!! This does sound like a young Rod
