Good stuff, compelling contemporary rendering of a traditonal genre, the gentle protest song. Loved the blend of voices, including the twang...But I am a fan, have been listening to Eliza since 1970, when she was singing on the streets of Santa Fe.
like driving by a car crash... and you can't not look.... i coudln't change the channel.... whew, glad it's over.
.
Arwooooo!!!
No thanks. It's time for this one to take a long trip into the bit bucket.
Damn dirty hippies.
A call for peace, and Iris Dement. I give it a 10.
:nodhead:
Hey Bill, three words. Delete, Delete, Delete!
besides that... (i hate to be a pesimest) it aint gonna happen.
my grandma would have liked that one.
Ugh, this is the worst, wheres some Beatles when you need it?
Ugh. This was bad for the first few minutes, until that caricature of a southern voice kicked in, at which point it fell through the floor. The image it brought to my mind was the girl from the cartoons I used to watch so many years ago: Buck teeth and braids, who'd yell, "A MAN!!" and then go after her guy.
Anyway, I hope I don't have to listen to this again.
Wow, this one hurts...

Wow was that bad. American Idol bad. ClearChannel bad. No more, please.
