I didn't read most other comments about what they may have heard. Maybe someone else caught it.  
Does this resemble a Joe Strummer song, All in a Day (or another one of his / the Mescaleros) ? Because I think it does.  A lot. Fix my ears if I'm wrong.

More Beth Orton please! While always a background kinda fan, Beth Orton's work has never seemed more relevant than... right now. I think that's called, like, enduring art or something. I dunno. I'm just a music fan; not an academic.

Beth is cool, saw her in Minneapolis for like $2.00 the year this cd came out. What was it, 95? 96? Was in town for OSU-Minn football and Primus at First Ave, but my buddy failed to pick up Primus tix ahead of time. The line for Primus stretched around the block. We wandered down the street, and found Beth at a club. After that, we had rusty cans of Bud at the Saluki Bar. Outstanding!
