A 1 for the voice alone.
Isn't it great that we don't all have the same taste, I absolutely can't stand this guy's voice - nails on chalkboard!
It's almost 2 am
I'm up writing and will up 'til dawn, if things go well.
Radio Paradise is my friend.
Thank you, Radio Paradise, for this great set -- Still, Carmina Piranha, Kent, Billy Corgan -- this is writing music!!!!
I haven't heard too many good things about this album but this song rocks.

Always with the inaudible vocals on his tracks. I find them interesting, but the production drowns the lyrics. Sounds like a groovy nice glossy rock track with Buzzy Corgan drowning in it.
Well said. The mix is not right.

Hitting all the right neurons!

It's okay, I guess. But I'm not too objective. Mainly I'm annoyed to be hearing this instead of "Gloomy Sunday" by Heather Nova. I mean, Billy Corgan? Go on!
Why? Can't Heather Nova be played during the same day that Billy Corgan is? I must have missed something.
Great song, great album.

This sounds every bit as good as any of his Smashing Pumpkins or other stuff -- who needs a band?
Now to display my ignorance -- what's with the name Mina Loy (M.O.H.)? Since the refrain is "my own house" I must assume that's what M.O.H. stands for -- so I'm figuring Mina Loy is "my own house" in some other language? (And not just a play on Myrna Loy's name?)
Mina Loy was a poet that lived from 1882-1966. https://www.cwru.edu/artsci/engl/VSALM/mod/wolkowski/main.html
Billy Corgan wrote:MINA LOY (M.O.H):
The guys I worked with on the album would label the soundscapes I had. This song was originally called "My Old Heart" and they abbreviated the name in the sound file as "M.O.H." At first I wasn't sure about my lyrics to "Mina Loy" because I felt like I was returning to one of my old themes -- rage. Yet it expressed my general feeling of paranoia. I live in Chicago and I love my city so much -- I love it like a woman. I was thinking how I'd feel if anyone ever set off a dirty bomb and destroyed this place I love so much. This is not some vague Soviet threat. It's the thought that someone on a whim can put their finger on a map and destroy something beautiful.

I have heard all of TheFutureEmbrace and it is Corgan's best music since Adore. Amazing record. A lot of people were expecting a rehash of his previous work in the Pumpkins and Zwan, but it's not even close. Mina Loy, DIA, and Pretty Pretty Star are my favorite tracks.

i'd second that!
Billy's voice still rocks....

Very compelling. From the opening notes this song demands attention and increased volume. My hairs stand at attention.
