I'm going back to my town
won't be there for long
I'm going back to my town
where I can't lose and I can't go wrong

going back to the city
where everything turns around
going back to the city
where my feet spin fast off the ground

going back to the city
where everything turns around
going back to the city
where my feet spin fast off the ground

going back to my town
I need it oh so bad
I'm going back to my town
I'll leave your face and I'll be sad

my town
my town
my town
my town

LOL. Me, too. I thought it was Sting, which is a good thing. Not great, but pretty good.

If by kinda you mean exactly, then yes, definitely.
Now I'm kinda sorry that I used "kinda".

Kinda? I thought it was a long lost track. I kinda liked it. Kinda . . . . Like visiting someone who reminds you of an old friend.

Yeah, you got it -- another great product of the Boulder vibe...Saw them play a living room gig up on The Hill back in the days...summer of 86? 87? and right about then, Big Head Todd also played a radical kitchen party (and every Firday Afternoon Club at CU) at a house out on Valmont Rd. We remarked how Police-ish The Samples were (therefore future success was theirs) and how if BHT ever wrote his own stuff (they were doing a lot of blues covers and a girlfriend's roommate blew harmonica with them) that they would soon follow. Gotta like the way things turned out for all!
