You know, I was about to agree with you, but I checked my emotional reaction a bit, and I'm glad of it.
Even for the music I can't stand on RP, it's ultimately Bill and Rebecca's taste the trumps all...Even if it IS only the novelty of this that appeals to them, there's surely something about it that strikes their fancy enought to play here, and that's there call.

That sucked so bad. All the lemmings will rush to listen to Matisyahu ...because some stupid music journalists got woodies over the whole novelty of the thing. Whoop-de-f*cking-do
Ok, THAT was funny!!!

Sorry, dude. Matisyahu is "in".

Ok song. He can't hold a couple of his notes, however. Especially at the end of the song, when his voice almost made me fall out of my seat.

jewish reggae. I've heard it all!!!
Guh. This fella is a mixed bag, and he does much better when he sings rapidly enough to hide his inconsistency of pitch.
Arctic Monkeys, Ok Go, Sufjan, and Matisyahu are overplayed on RP and I am sick of it. Oh, but this song sounds ok, I'll give you that.
OK means it's not Jewish Reggae, less bothering.
