Faced with lies
Don't you think that you just lie?
Caught inside
Worlds made mostly of lies
Make up your mind
'cause it's all we love
that's all
Just faded lines
Overwhelmed
Overjoyed is the same
Beneath the stillness
the place where coldness meets cold
Make up your mind
'cause it's all we love
that's all
Just faded lines
And what else?
Yeah, I was scared
The seconds dripped past
so slow
But I just stood there
I thought you
should know
Don't you think that you just lie?
Caught inside
Worlds made mostly of lies
Make up your mind
'cause it's all we love
that's all
Just faded lines
Overwhelmed
Overjoyed is the same
Beneath the stillness

And what else?
Yeah, I was scared
The seconds dripped past

But I just stood there
I thought you

Absolutely uncanny, flawless timing with the song on Will's part there....
Totally off on this play. And stale to boot. Nothing personal, rgrace. I'm just tired of the cowbell joke (and "Gloomy Sunday"...and....).
Really, really reminds me of Midnight Oil. Maybe it's just this particular cut. But it's there. Still likeable, though.
I like... I like..... I like.......

Thanks to RP, I've gotten myself hip to all the Secret Machines' work, and it all rocks in a pretty cool way!
Same for me. Still, they have a very bad taste for album covers.

Ring it baby!!!
Nice but seems to be running out of gas. Good for background music at a bar

I hate the whole "This sounds like" stuff that gets posted on RP but, man, MIDNIGHT OIL??? OR WHAT!!!!
I heard some Sonic Youth in there....poor imitation though
Well, the guy's voice might be a bit reminiscent of that big galoot from Midnight Oil, but the music sounds completely different to these ears. I like this song; I'll have to seek out more Secret Machines.

good tune cranked!
This sounds like Jimmy Eat World.
Midnight Oil meets the Blue Man Group
actually, that'd be way better than this!
I like Daddy's In The Doldrums more, but this song isn't bad nonetheless
Their first album is by far superior. I am a hudge fan of S.M., but 10 drops lacks the intensity of Nowhere

Reminds me of Midnight Oil............
Anyone else hear a Wilco influence?
This is really starting to grow on me. I might have to go see them when they hit the 9:30 club.
Growing on me, moving up the scale of success....

Sounds a tad Placebo if you ask me.
Placebo couldn't touch these guys.
And goddammit will somebody please upload the Map Reference song by Wire already?
I would have put this one on the uk release of 154 between "Once Is Enough" and "Map Ref. 41°N 93°W". Pretty tame for Wire in 1979, though.
Brandon, if you're reading this - come home soon, we miss you and Josh in Dallas!
Saw them in Florida last month, great show. These guys can entertain. Lots of lights and visuals. Was in the afternoon, but was still a great trip, i mean time...
Diggin' the new playlists Bill, even if the songs you are playing aren't automatic 10's in most peoples eyes.
Sounds a tad Placebo if you ask me.
Totally has the New-Wave kinda groove.... kinda poppy but I like it

Did this comment fall into a wormhole in 1986 and only just now make it onto the Internet?
Secret Machines is in my opinion the best new band of the past 5 years, and Now Here is Nowhere is just amazing the entire way through. Of course, RP introduced me to this amazing band.
Not sure how I feel about this track yet, it's good but not sure if it's in the above 7 range yet. but I highly suggest that anyone to check out Secret Machines.
Not bad, but nothing special really.
Nice Sound. Lots Of Energy.
