Made a note of it,
Did you write it on your hand?
Put a name on it,
To help you understand.

Well do you see,
The future's holidays are for me?
Just let me know,
Where we go, after the fall.

Like the sound of it,
Gonna hang it on your wall.
Turn and run with it,
For the sake of one and all.
Where you go, nobody knows.

Well do you see,
The future's holidays are for me?
Just let me know,
Where to go,
Where you go, after the fall.

I'm so hearing early Doobieshere -  think Toulose Street
CS&N for the new millennium! I like this a lot!

I Agree! Same Here!    Thanx RP!
First listen..... wow. Love it
love these two
and put together is even better
this song is a unique mix and the lyrics are cryptic

Indeed, you are!

It appears that Jose Gonzalez is featured on this cut.

Not just you.
Any group/band/artist that sets themselves in the "chill out' genre is a clear 9 by me! 🤪

I'm hearing Steely Dan and CSN. Now that's hybrid.

I really thought I had a stream problem during the skipping bit. God this is awful.
"Alan Parsons Project" song with an "Air" twist at the end.
Great band, made better with all the influences given below.  I even heard Sneaker Pimps in the bass ...
There is even touch of Weather Report , it has many colors and shades yet I am not moving much
I wish these guys would put out a new CD... so good

Absolutely!!
Love these guys. First album was terrific. Listen to The Waiting Line.

What the hell is the deal with that album art? The Garden? It looks like 30 years of crappy wall paper.

From Wikipedia: "The name of the album is derived from the cover art, which is a collection of collages created by an artist friend."

Collage dear boy, collage.
Whatever happened to this band they've dropped outta sight.
Nice tune.

Thought this was Junip (aka José González).

Yes.

When the song started, I thought immediately of Opeth's guitar work. Opeth is a Swedish death metal band.

vanilla sky -ish.
Some cool sonic sh^t going on there... fun on the big stereo with the subwoofer, turned ALL THE WAY UP! Clearly, as Bill Szymczyk said long ago "Made loud to be played loud!"
csn and sometimes young
Very tasty; pairs well with a Shiraz or Petite Syrah.

That flanger effect is NSFH.  (Not safe for headphones.)  I feel dizzy.
Pleasant. That's about it. Some nice production and cool chord changes...
A little Alan Parson's Project-ish. Updated though.
The new album is great! I think it is time to compile my favorite zero7 songs into a cd. Lets do it {#Daisy}
EXELLENT!

Better than "zero7" - and "8"...?
I was also thinking an old CSN sound.
Brilliant!

Being a Canadian, you know all about being "Cool"  ;)
When it's cold and dark outside, and one just feel like going out for a summer walk this song is perfect, the redundancy (ie frozen computer feeling) makes it work... one future amongst others
This song always makes me think my computer has frozen{#Embarassed}

Guitar is kinda Guineverish and the harmony is outstanding.

Jose González is one of the best singers that i ever heard. Is soft, romantic...

Going to have to give this a second listen.  For now, it gets a 6.
Great record from the beginning to the end.  Not every critic loves this but I find it very pleasant and listenable.  It creates a mood very effectively.
The 60ties are back again.

I think I let my hair grow.....

This song has a most excellent ending.

That's not skipping, they put it in there on purpose. Every time I hear it, I get the urge to PM Bill to let him know.

I'm kidding. You said 'skippable', so I ran with it. Then tripped and fell.

Nice segue into Echo...

Agreed...

SO much different from the first two.  More pop... less traditional downtempo.  No surprise that Sia was much more involved here then on the previous albums.  At first I wasn't sure.  Now I am.  A few that could have been left off, but the good stuff is really great.

The addition of Jose was a very good thing I think.

2 cents...

I get a definite Steely Dan vibe from parts of this...also, a little America...not one of my faves

I loved the song "Destiny" so I bought that. I listen to it a few times a week and haven't gotten tired of it yet

Just saw Jose at the University of Utah; awesome show, including the longest encore I've ever seen (6-7 songs). His guitar style was fun to watch - very percussive and precise.

Either my stream was interrupted or Bill G was doing some DJin' on the back end of that one...the skips were a little longer than usual...

Means the same thing as 'fooking', just with an Irish accent.
"Fecking" is "blech" in reverse. TimeWaster wrote:

critics are emphatically invited to invert themselves. . .

I just love Zero 7 ... so nice to hear them on RP!
I love this album. There's only 4 songs on it that I like, but they make it worth the purchase. With music that gives a nod to Pink Floyd and harmonies that are reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young I get chills every time I hear that song. Great engineering and production.
I bought this album because I like the first song on it so much (rather than download it for free). But then I listened to the rest. Its always a crap shoot, you hope to be turned on by a surprise gem but this only disappointed. I'm not a fan of the vocals except for when they get a guest singer on the job. The lyrics leave something to be desired as well. Musically it's not very challenging nor really engaging. disappointed.
that's kinda different, I like it.

+1 on the Alan Parsons
Another souless, lifeless effort; so far the only thing I like from this guy is a cover song.

Agree, for one I hear Alan Parsons in this. Very cool that others pick that up too, thought I was the only one who remembers them. Love Jose's voice.
Good, good.
Something that played on by earlier made me think, oh, hey it would be cool to hear that tasty little Zero 7 number with Jose G, and here, not too long later, IT IS. Only one of the reasons I love you, Bill, and why I'm here rather than anyplace else. You help keep me well above Standard Orbit, and I like that. I like it a lot...

Welcome back Alan Parsons, we missed you. ;) Really like Zero 7. Thanks for the introduction, Bill!
Bill, quit playing such awesome music -- I'm trying to go home from the office!
They have three CD's out, and all are fantastic. Take your pick. radiomao wrote:

I really love Zero 7--bought all their CD's including this one. This is their latest, and has a wonderful sound to it. Not really jazz, not really blues or new age, but has a piece of all of that in there. Great music if you are a prog rock/Yes/Procupine Tree lover.
