Moments and moments
That come
And take all the other moments
With them
Days, days
To the light, to the light
We dance, dance
Don't know why
And wait, wait
For the moments
Never come
Meanwhile
Wanting to drop
All the moments of defeat
Just forget all the scenes
When you gave up control
Eyes and tears and aches and bones and gold and fire
And on the other side are all the things you want to have here
And all the mysteries that you keep to yourself
Are all the miseries that you hide from the world for
And you'd die just to get what you want
But what for?
Moments and moments
That come
And take all the other moments with them
Color bars that follow
Waves of endless chords
All your tears tomorrow
Just to get what you want
Eyes and tears and aches and bones and gold and fire
And on the other side are all the things you want to have here
And all the mysteries that you keep to yourself
Are all the miseries that you hide from the world for
And you'd die just to get what you want...

You mean because you couldn't really hear anything?

I listen to Radio Paradise while I work.  Sometimes I am furiously pounding away at my keyboard when the music makes me suddenly stop what I am doing and listen very closely.  Like this song.
I will only attract bad karma by commenting on this song.

You're more OCD than me!  Wow!  Are you aware that with one more column, you could've made it symmetrical? (See original post.)

I finally realized why I never heard of those "Devics."
They are plain BORING!!!!   {#Sleep}{#Sleep}
I'd say "Pretty Good".
oh for goodness sake, cheer up.
I like melancholic, but is a miserable durge.
Palatable yearning. And melancholy. Made me stop and look up the lyrics.
Mmm.... Huzzah for a new band I need to look into. Smooth.

Emily Haines & the Soft Skeleton?
Exactly what I thought, too. Her voice's twin...
I dunno. Maybe a good tune if you're driving through Nebraska. With coffee and sunshine it's just irritating.
At last!! Devics are on RP - they are amazing..chill out style music. :)
Sort of a nice, relaxing, mellow song for a cloudy Sunday afternoon.
Buttery caramelicious.

Nice. 9. Good make out music.
Blood pressure dropping...that's amazingly beautiful.
Something quite intriguing about this track. Maybe it's the time of day or something, but I am digging this right now!
Agree - not what I was looking for in trying to wake up and start the day. Boring in context.
Maybe this group has some better songs. This is quite the letdown after the energetic "Lips like Sugar"

Really nice. Reminds me of Over the Rhine.
I second that notion. Simple and alluring, all at once. Quite likeable.

The singer sounds like the singer from The Sundays.
This is the second song from this album that I heard that I like.
Dismissed it, but then started to get annoyed.
I'm a sucker for dragonflies.
What is this gem..
bit of a buzzkill after Sonic Youth, but ok...
