Oh how time flies
With crystal clear eyes
And cold as cold
When you're ending with diamond eyes

Oh come child
In a cross bones style
Oh come child
Come and rescue me

Cause you have seen some unbelievable things

Hater I have your diamonds
And still...

Cause you have seen some unbelievable things

Hater I have your diamonds

Oh come child
In a cross bones style
Oh come child
come and rescue me

Cause you have seen some unbelievable things

Hater I have your diamonds
And still, so still...

Oh how time flies
With crystal eyes
And cold as cold
When you're ending with diamond eyes

Oh come child
In a cross bones style
Oh come child
Come and rescue me

Cause you have seen some unbelievable things

Seriously lousy.
Very bad indeed. 1
Cool song, sort of Sinead O\'Conner & Patti Smith style
a most excellent segue...
She sounds a lot like Karin Dreijer Andersson from The Knife on this track.

I had heard of Cat Power, but I thought this was Beth Orton too.

I like Cat Power a lot. The hell with haters. "The Greatest"was one of the finest albums of 2007.
deep blissfull melancholly of existence, highlights the beauty of sadness and the rich insight of the dented
Seriously lousy.
I had to buy the album after hearing this song. It haunts me. The vocals, the guitar, those damn drums, it all rings in my brain, every time. How does she do it?
Sorry, just doesn't work for me...
Saw her last year at at festival, and it was tough to watch. I actually like her voice, and on record, I like her songs. But it was tough to stand still in the 100-degree bone-melting Tennessee sun and listen to dainty songs.
Outstandin' love it!
She did this public service ad. I have no further comment.
I understand the irritation people have with watching her perform, but she is without a doubt one of the most amazing voices around. Stick with the records and I think she'll win you over. The writing is pretty great as well.
I saw her during a nice concert in Paris two months ago... "The Greatest" ;)

wow that's the worst song i've heard in a long time. at least that's before she REALLY started faking the sound of her voice.
It's worse live. She followed the Racontuers on a PBS show the other night. She does these goofy cutesy hand gestures that are just plain ridiculous(maybe it's supposed to be feline,I dunno what it's about but it looks strange in an adult). I guess if you don't think about your vocals you have to keep your mind occupied somehow. I'm sure everyone in her band has killed themselves by now. Probably chewed right through their own heads just to get away. edit-Found this on Wiki "One of her shows during this period was as the support act to Man or Astro-man? and consisted of her playing a two string guitar and singing the word "no" for 15 minutes" That might be an improvement. There's just nothing there at all. If you took all her talent, put it in a bag and let go it would float upwards at such a rapid rate it would suck all the air out of the atmosphere causing global warming and flooding. This would cause the planet to wobble on it's axis, causing instabilty in the galaxy and the eventual destruction of the entire known universe.
Just saw them via the tele...playing the Austin City Limits show, Dec 30...not bad.

She's not so flaky. Troubled, yes. But smart and cool nonetheless. She seems to be getting it together lately. I just saw her play and she was great.
Beth Orton has a sister?
Sounds like Beth Orton? Cool.....
