When you get sober
Will you get kinder?
Cause when you get uptight
It's such a drag

When I get older
I won't remember -
Until that day comes
I've got something on you

Under the blacklight
Out in the garden
Into the pale moon
I'll be waiting

Under the blacklight
Under the blacklight

Even dead men
Lie in their coffins
It's been a long time
Since you felt better

Under the blacklight
Out in the garden
Into the pale moon
I'll be waiting

Under the blacklight
Out in the garden
Into the pale moon
Under the blacklight

Somewhere in Laredo
Borders a soft man
Like a black widow
I'll be crawling

Under the blacklight
Out in the garden
Into the pale moon
Under the blacklight

Down in the valley
Up in the dark blue
Under the blacklight
Under the blacklight

Calling Aimee Mann ...

TOTALLY - what a rip off...only no where as need as Aimee..
I love Rilo Kiley, but honestly, can't stand this. For those of you who are PSDing this, give Jenny another chance. Take a listen to anything from More Adventurous or The Execution of All Things. It's beautiful poetry as opposed to...whatever this is.
Calling Aimee Mann ...
{#No} White Bubblegum Pop - somewhere between boring and downright irritating. {#No}

That's from the movie The Wizard, a story of super-competitive NES gamers. I haven't seen it since it was out in the theater.

Right...  And the girl is...?

Woot!!!

Hey Jenny, Just heard a really nice song off of the new album. Haven't heard from you for a while. Hope everything's OK. All is great here. Really fantastic. You know...just been working out and, and - Oh! I got that promotion I was telling you about, so that's nice. I mean, the money and all. Not that money matters, but you know, it's nice to have some extra change and all to maybe spend on a special young lady. But I'm basically single, I mean, there's no one special in my life. You're special of course, but then, you're not so much in my day-to-day life right now. I really miss you Jenny Watson. I thought we really had something there for a while. I just...we were...but you... So, when do you think you might be coming through town? Cause I could probably clear up some time so that maybe we could get a drink or something. Just...call. Anytime. Whenever. I stay up late. And I get up pretty early, so anytime is good. OK, well - I'll talk to you soon, I hope. Really just wanted to tell you about hearing the song, and about liking it and all. Have fun on tour, and don't do anything that I wouldn't do (Ha, Ha). Remember the pact we made, Jenny. I meant it, and I know you did, too. TTFN, -J

this one was enough to make me change the station, coming as it did after pretty in pink and some other pap. You gotta cut your losses.

Quick, play Radiohead...
That's quite a chest er, I mean collection of pictures.
I just LOVE this album!!!
I like the band's older stuff- this album missed my mark, though. Just can't get into the girly disco-esque feel of it.
Silver Lining is the song that I like, it's got a nice country feel and I do like Jenny Lewis - that girl can sing.
disturbing beginning and end ... but in a good way. I like it, good music...
All you grumps need to grow up and admit that Jenny Lewis can do no wrong...
Make her stop pleeeeeaaaase......
this sucks so much

Throw in Alison Sudol and make a triple-decker. Likeable (and catchy) tune.
uhm... I'll be back in a few minutes... gotta go ponder this one...
I bought this album, even though it got dissed when it came out, and I am pleasantly surprised.
Gee, I'm mesmerized by the monotony of this. Hope the band has a hot stage presence!
Of Corrs.
jenny up!
I think I liked this band better when it was named Texas and released an album called "White On Blonde."
Smells like Halibut....
wha's up with the dancing robot music?

I know this is a poor reflection of my character but they are ALL over MTV lately. And I don't mean videos...they are like featured on all the reality tv shows...and it's kind of ruining Rilo Kiley's street cred....
That probably already happened with the imitation of Lindsay Buckingham/Stevie Nicks ("Dreamworld") and (on this song) 'til tuesday.

seriously, what's up with that intro/exit?!
Not a bad tune from an act that needs to stay away from MTV!

Would rather like to see her dancing with her looooooong legs. No chance I guess?

Very nice, though I wonder if Survivorman knows they stole the sound he goes in and out of commercials with. (Hopefully someone will get it.)
Saw them 2 weeks ago here in Florida, VERY GOOD LIVE still this new album is soooooooooooo POP that pisses me off .. is she going to "Gwen Stephani" herself? Oscar
Most excellent indeed. Catchy little number.
Bill, the last four to six songs has been a real nice run, thanks!
Oh, Jenny...
Pretty cool song in my book.
Psychic! The online Seattle P-I had an article about a Rilo Kiley concert this morning. I visited the band's website, and there was this very same song.
Jam on, Jenny!
