I look up and the hills seem far away
They still see me more than you
And on my back I see these clouds above
They still love me more than you

And I know I don't have to wait for words
I can walk away and listen to the birds
Listen to the birds
They don't sing the things I want to hear
They don't change, they stay the same
Lonely, yeah yeah yeah

I would dearly love to run away
From your shadow
For just one day
'Cause I would dearly love to run away
From your shadow
For just one day

And I don't ever want to steal your time
'Cause you seem fine
But I feel blue
I don't want to say the things I do
'Cause I know I feel it more than you

And I know I don't have to wait for words
I can walk away and listen to the birds
Listen to the birds
'Cause they don't sing the things I want to hear
They don't change, they stay the same
Lonely, yeah yeah yeah

I would dearly love to run away
From your shadow
For just one day
Oh and I would dearly love to run away
From your shadow
For just one, just one, just one day

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
Well I know I don't want to wait for you
I could turn around and find somebody new, find somebody new, yeah
Someone that says the things I need to hear
Doesn't change, someone who stays the same
When I need, yeah

Well I would dearly love to run away
From your shadow
For just one day
'Cause I would dearly love to run away
From your shadow
For just one day, oh oh yeah

Just saw her recently doing an acoustic solo here outside LA opening for Chris Isaak (yea good show). Happy she is living in Venice Beach and making music and touring again!
I'm a fan of Miss Tunstall and I Haven't heard this before.
Thanks Bill and Rebecca.
