There's only one word
You took the ice out of the arrogant
And put the heat back in the sun again
With only one word

With only one word you put the weapons of the world away
It's funny how a single thing you choose to say
Will change the world
And then suddenly means something better

Every single thing I see
Good or bad you make it mean something better
Every pleasure every pain
Every nightmare that I dream
Make it mean something better

With only word you change the ending of a tragedy
And summon power from the injuries
With only one word
It's funny how a single thing you choose to say

Will change the word and then it
Suddenly means something better
Everything single thing I see
Good or bad you make it mean something better

Every pleasure every pain
Every nightmare that I dream
Make it mean something better

Every time that I can't make a sound
And I think that I'm starting to drown
Even when I try to take you down
Every time that I think I'm alone

And I can't find a word on my own
You take me home then...
You change the world again

With only one word
You took a war out of my history
It's funny how a single thing you choose to see
Could change the world and give my... back to me

So much better than everything single thing I see
Every single thing I dream
So much better
Every pleasure every pain

Every nightmare that I dream
Make it mean something better
So much better

The first two albums! Brilliant!
Conjure One and the amazing voice of Poe. Unbeatable combo!
So sad that her collaboration with Conjure One is the most-recent thing Poe has done musically since she's been at war with her old record label since the release of Haunted.  Hopefully we'll get to hear more from her one day...

Nothing in the world wrong with ABBA.
Fabulous voices, catchy tunes.
What's not to like?
Well-Chosen Words.
Oh, Poe, your voice melts my heart {#Hearteyes}. 9 from the smitten Nottingham jury.
Heard Poe. Nailed it.
Also heard Karen C. gawd.

Ya know what?  At the end of the day that is all that really matters.  When it comes to music appreciation, that is.

Yup, this is a good one...a really really good one.  She is so amazing on this, and makes it go to the next level.  Well done!

Thanks!  Nice little sugar-spun confection.

edit:  I THOUGHT that was Poe's voice!  Wikipedia also 'suggests' it may be.

edit 2:  As usual, I shoulda read the thread before I opened my big mouth.

Hey, this isn't "Endless Dream" :) I had no idea Poe performed any other song with Conjure One. Like. Thanks for the upload/ play.
I love this. 9.
Is it just me or do I hear a little Karen Carpenter. Great voice!

But as for the selection of their tracks on RP, it does seem like most of Bill's picks are the Poe tracks, but he sometimes plays a really nice track called Tears From the Moon which features vocals by Sinead O'Connor.

Another vote for Tears From the Moon. I had just discovered RP when he played that one afternoon as part of a set of "space" themed music. I was hooked immediately.

O'Connor had a beautiful voice, very expressive, but years of cigarettes and booze have ruined it if what I've heard recently is any indication. Joni Mitchell, too - she's lost most of her upper range.
Pretty cool! Plus I like Poe so all the better!

I think its more of a studio project than a band, so to answer your question: Not really.

Poe is the vocalist on several songs on both Conjure One albums.  And I'd wager she'll be on their third whenever it gets made.

But as for the selection of their tracks on RP, it does seem like most of Bill's picks are the Poe tracks, but he sometimes plays a really nice track called Tears From the Moon which features vocals by Sinead O'Connor.

My upload. Woot!

This is cool...

Groovy!
pretty cool I think. actually, quite cool.  I'm digging this.

Sounds good to me.
I really do love the combination of Poe's vocals with Conjure One.

I just wish Poe would make some more music... SOON.
