I see houses
Rows and rows of red bricks
I see black cars
Some blood-stained exit
I get this feeling that I
I've been here before
How many lives will I waste
How many tears must I taste
Before my freedom, oh
Before my freedom, oh
I see mountains
Blood-red sunsets
I see a billion stars
Love, death and inbetween
I get this feeling that I
I've been here before
How many lives will I waste
How many tears must I taste
Before my freedom, oh
Before my freedom, oh
I won't be late, won't be late
I won't be late, won't be late, oh
I won't be late, won't be late
I get this feeling that I
I've been here before
How many lives will I waste
How many tears must I taste
Before my freedom, oh
I get this feeling that I
I've been here before
How many lives will I waste
How many tears must I taste
Before my freedom, oh
Murder, trouble and strife
Turning me into another guy
Murder, trouble and strife
Turning me into another guy
Murder, trouble and strife
Turning me into another guy
Don't be late, don't be late
Don't be late, don't be late
When I call
When I call
When I call you up
When I call you up
Rows and rows of red bricks
I see black cars
Some blood-stained exit
I get this feeling that I
I've been here before
How many lives will I waste
How many tears must I taste
Before my freedom, oh

This one has captured my attention. Interesting piece.
I See Dead People - they died from boredom listening to this song.
Boregasmic.
Just got my mood perfectly, I was about to slit my wrists, jump into a river and then hang myself. Normal day really..

Wow, like the soundtrack to a coma.

I'm glad I stand alone from the crowd! I like it.

i seldom bother putting a negative rating on a song, but this song is uninspired junk, and i'm always shocked to hear anything of this low caliber here on RP

It does sound like they phoned this one in. They have so much better material than this.
agreed.

Not the best the verve has to offer
Sounds like someone took a drunken Van Morrison and a forgotten Julian Lennon, put them in a blender, and had Bob Ezrin produce it. Not bad, not great, but moreover a mishmash of different styles that don't necessarily add up to greatness.
I disagree with you both. This song doesn't suck...it blows.

I disagree Simon.
No vocal range, no creativity in the delivery, wow this song sucks.

Sit And Wonder from the same album is so much better than this one.
That's enough Verve for now...

I've had enough of this guy's voice today.
