My timing is off
She isn't ready for my love
It's all that I got
But it's a pretty big thing
That she should recognize
The truth between us cannot hide

She knows that it's real
But the situation doesn't fit
I know what I feel

And I know that this is really
Everything it's all about
And I don't have a single doubt

My timing is off
But sometimes that's how it all works
Believe it or not
We don't have a choice
In matters of the heart

Just gotta be brave enough
To love and let yourself be loved
My timing is off
And I'm not worried 'bout a thing

She knows that it's real
She couldn't throw it all away
For fear of happiness
This isn't like that other mess

Thank you for this...I hadn't ever noticed it before.

Dang!  That's cold.

Hope you don't ever end up as a "lost heart"; it is a terrible stage of life.
Cigarros Cubanos Cohiba
All the lost hearts are tapping along.  So sad 4 u.
Music is nice, just don't like his voice.

aw c'mon, it's a good 'lil tune (really)
Really, really good tune
When  Mark Oliver Everett gets it right, he gets it right. Blindingly good song!
Eels is good! {#Chef}
I gave this a "9" but it is really close to a "10"  The Eels are the bump.
Profound lyrics, isn't it often the case, chaos and such, but tempo of piece contradicts title. :)

And the raw flesh of his poor suffering vocal cords.
Love this!
And Eels also!

Not a cover. It's an E original.

Hahaha! Very usefull!! Thanks.
A colleague put a playlist together for me last year that included an Eels song. It was the first time I had heard Eels and maybe it has a lot to do with that colleague and his private playlists for me, but I am crazy about Eels.

Charmingly mellow.

I either love or hate Eels songs. But I never seem to be unmoved one way or the other.

{#Yes} Well said!
I don't know much about these guys, but I'm quite fond of this song.

Edit: And I do like that this album cover mimics the Cohiba box... : )

No, non, nein, nee, njet, ingen, nej, nao, 沒有, なし, لا, לא, yok, hakuna, etc.!!!!!
I think they have a good sense of humor; you have to listen to them in that way. They do not claim to be Bach or anything.{#Lol}

Might be a nice picture, but still tastes like shite. I don't know of anybody who has ever even remotely liked jellied eels, and I used to spend a reasonable amount of time within the environs of the Bow Bells.

Please, PLEASE, skip next time!!!

First Lullabye to My Timing is Off! Bill is genius!{#Clap} I know I damn sure coudnt play that Gooding song!{#Stupid}
Charmingly TV-theme retro-ish with alt gloss. I'm thinking Dusty Springfield meets the Byrds.
stubborn is not brave
Mute
One of my favorite bands.
Nice little ditty. Scratchy voice I can do without.
Is it just me (having smoked for the first time in decades  {#Devil_pimp}...,)  or is Bill playing an especially God-like set this afternoon?    {#Roflol}
Love Beck...yeah....similar

Right back at ya!  I dig this Bill RP guy as well!

Mathilde Santing - Beautifull people.
I don't ususally do this, but the guitar kicked in and I could have sworn I was back in Chicago listening to the Bad Examples.  This song is eerily similar to "Which piece is missing" from the album "Cheap Beer Night".  Now that's the name of a rock album!

I think his sound is achieved through multiple cigar inhalations, and the esophagal coating that proceeds forthwith therefrom

He IS trying to fit in to society, and appears quite human these days

good tune

El toro es el Lobo {#Biggrin}

El toro como el lobo
