This takes quite a bit of skill to play.  There's no stumbling involved.

OK, it grew on me. I gave it a 7! (putting it on "My Favorites" list).  Thanx RP
Great tune, but hell  to dance to.

Boring.....
... first time hearing this ... love the start so far :)
Turned up!
Something about that hook...

they've also listened to a Tool album or two.  i dig this.
this is a great groove.
Ten years old, but new to me and I'm loving it!

I've had comments for one song show up in another after it changed while typing.  First time I thought it was because I clicked comment when the song changed, but the second time it wasn't even close. Post Comment was clicked, a delay and then the next song appeared and my comment was on it. I deleted and went back and resubmitted to the correct song. Third time I saw it, I was about to hit delete, and it disappeared then showed over to the correct song.
Glitches in the matrix.

Thanks RP for including lyrics! For nearly 50 years, mis-heard lyrics moved me away from this song. "I tell you to end your life" was actually:

And so as you hear these words
Telling you now of my state
I tell you to enjoy life
I wish I could but it's too late

belongs to last tune (Paranoid)

Excellent!

Or even Michael Kiwinuka - which i just discovered was Swahili for "It rises"

Super cool tune 9 years later sill cooler than cool.

Amazing song! What a drive!

It's a modified sculpture based on a painting by the bass player, more or less.
NICE

Love this song!! Awesome!!
Band of Horses - "The Funeral"
Band of Skulls - "Wanderluster"
I see what you did there.
great!
If you have a taste for wanderlust, better take a deep breath before go.
Palindromes running a riot I guess.

This is f00kin fantastic!!

If it makes you wonder, why I never leave my box office
                                   Because I'm scared of becoming a multi-culti

Just for the sake of becoming something,  I'm just thirsty
For real deal, ,like an x-rated but lustig silent movie from1940's
When they last,  they last, because they carry some weight
And, sure thing I don't want no sulking customers around my box
Please don't scream, from day go it was meant to be silent.

Me too  I carry some extra weight around the theater
It's always good to bust another bloke trying to duck into theater
And from last strawman I carved out a camel driver, and it was the last of my meal,
From then on the driver entered into a point of no return,
Never underestimate what a soft drink can do.

                                     ,

This song sucks so much

Good song, but the vocal sounds like it was inspired by how Capt Kirk speaks.

I think this is 7/4 with a double-time feel or something.  Still cool.

Like the off beat....

I like it! Very powerful.

And I like the unsettledness in rhythm and cover art too (bloody furs?).

Great tune, but misses for me with the odd timing.  Clever rhythms are one thing, but this feels disjointed to my ear.  Drums are great, guitar solos not so much.
very nice energy to this, good for a recharge, would be nice to play in the car.  the album cover "art" is a little off-putting though
Great Live!

Sorry, you're wrong. It IS 7/8, point.
yeah...wander...luster...yeah...{#Smile}
I like the energy of this song and it has a quick pace, but the song overall takes its time.  Not sure this makes sense, lol.
BAND OF GYPSYS next?

YEAH, I SEE IT!
One two three, a-one two three, a-one two three
(How I count 7/8 in my head sometimes)
Really liking this one!
I've seen them live 3 times ... very small club, club that holds 1000, and they opened for Muse this year.  Loved them in the smaller venues.  You know you've had a great time when the show is over and the first words out of your mouth are "Ya, I'd see them again"

Approach? Pffft. How about departure, arrival, or a journey in 7/8 for a change?

I caught just the end of the song, but the final bars were definitely 4/4.

Nice guitar lick, but kind of thin in other spots...  hmmmm...

When will this song end!?!: Awful.
It's bands like this that keep Rolling Stone pumping out articles on rock & roll of days gone by.
Where was the producer on this??
No one was there to tell them that guitar riff was a train wreck?
Ridiculous
Interesting rythm. 7/8s if I'm not mistaking
Thumbs up! Very good portfolio this morning.
I like it
Actually a nice album. Bit different than you would probably think, but I like it. Singing oten quite conventional, and guitars sometimes really loud. Good variety, in my opinion...

I can't figure out if the lack of discernible tempo is technically brilliant or just completely incompetent.  It sure is annoying though.

I heartily disagree.

I'm in a good mood this morning so I will say something nice - Matt Hayward, the drummer, rocks it on this tune.
Very irritating guitar riff.... sounds like a alarm!
Nice album cover by the way...

I think that photo is pretty cool - it's apparently a sculpture based on symmetrical paintings which were done by the bass player. You must not have seen very many album covers if that's ugliest cover you've ever seen.

I guess it's just a matter of individual tastes, though.

worst album cover ever.....butthole surfers "brown reason to live"....(and or   The Handsome Beasts  'beastiality').....definitely.

Everyone in my trailer park is tripping to this music!
I think it's "Quite Likeable"
When they go "whoo" like that near the beginning of this song, it reminds me of that Scissor Sisters song, "Take your mamma"; it kinda ruins it for me.

I agree the band name is dumb but the song's not bad.  I'll give it a 6 for now.
Good song, but Band of Skulls? Really? That's so Spinal Tap.
Please Sir, may I have some more?
Guitar riff sounds like a Nokia 6310 ringtone.....yek

Saw them warming up the Black Keys and went back for more when they played on their own.  Awesome live band with two great albums.  This second one is way better live than when you first hear it on the album but now somehow having seen it played live gives it that extra edge every time.

Oh I also really dig the cover.
That is the flat-out ugliest album cover I have ever seen.
I'm a sucker for any song in 7 that isn't a obvious prog rock
all in all: superb.

love the drum work!
Odd band name, but a cool song. Nice pick RP.

Me like! 8

Digging this! Got a bit of a Manchester feel to it!
