Fever, where'd you run to?
Fever, where'd you run to?
Acting right is so routine
Fever, let me live a dream

Fever, I'm a slave to
No one misbehaved too
Fever, they're misunderstood
Wouldn't leave you if I could
Fever

Fever cuz I'm breaking
Fever got me aching
Fever, why don't you explain?
Break it down again

Fever got me guilty
Just go ahead and kill me
Fever, why don't you explain?
Break it down again

Fever, can you hear me?
Fever, can you hear me?
You shook me like I've never been
Now show me how to live again

Ya used to be a blessing
But fever's got me stressing
Realize I have been played
But fever let me play the game
Fever

Fever, cuz I'm breaking
Fever got me aching
Fever, why don't you explain
Break it down again

Fever got me guilty
Just go ahead and kill me
Fever, why don't you explain
Break it down again

Now if the cold pale light in your eyes
Reaches those horizon lines
You know not to leave her
Fever

There is a lot of Black Keys played on here and that's a very good thing!

the mix on this station is so diverse and the best I have come across to satisfy everyone with good musically  taste in different genres.
Those into commercial pop and country, oh well

I agree!   I have found a lot of great music here, that I had never heard of before! Thanx RP! ...in ALL of the mixes! ...Rock, Main,  Mellow!, & Global!!

All music is derivative my friend.  In fact your complaint is as derivative as all the other comments complaining about the same thing.  If you go back into the annals of classical music you will find all the same riffs, chord changes, progressions and tempo changes that we all love about prog rock.

VERY WELL STATED!!!
GREAT TUNE!!!!

Bands like The Shins and Gomez, REM too, are very good at taking old sounds and incorporating them into new song arrangements to awesome effect.  I find Black Keys, however, to be derivative.  This is possibly the most derivative music being played here and I don't think in 10 years time anyone will remember them. Being derivative is probably the most valid criticism that can be leveled at copycat bands like this one.  Music needs to be original and fresh sounding --- innovative, daring.  Otherwise you have stasis, inertia.  This is a purely crass commercial experiment gone horribly awry and I hear them on every commerical station I listen too.  We do not need derivative corporate rock here.  Yes, they have talent in the sense that they can play instruments, but they have no creativity in composition.

how can two guys sound so good!
i actually kinda liked the keyboard in the background to this its fun and is easy to groove to. the vocal work is also nice! i like music thats strange and new and plays around with stuff like that so i think this song is nice :33 but thats just my opinion. i like this song
Viva Akron! Black Keys & Devo!
Not their best song, okay. But i enjoy to hear some rock and roll in this pop music time. And they do not bad!!

I agree with several of the comments - the keyboard part bugs me (maybe more than it should?) so it distracts me from what I like about The Black Keys, which is their slightly off-kilter crunchiness and vigor.  Simple and powerful and quirky - but this song loses me.

It's a troll throw meaning, "I'm not a musician. I don't understand music. And I certainly don't understand how it's made." Every musician you hear on this web site or virtually any radio station is supremely talented and has marshaled that talent into something for the rest of us to enjoy. I've been playing for 50 years and am in awe of the displays of sheer talent and musicianship I hear here daily.

And, you are a stooge...

they were annoying before - now they are completely unbearable. possibly the worst song ever played on RP!

I disagree with worst song ever - but that synth rif is definitely ridiculous.
New album is set to be released in May I think. This song is getting old already. Shame.

I can see Pee Wee Herman doing the Tequila dance to this:)

Nice beat and good overall sound.  Listening at work and it makes me feel happy.  :-)
It's gotta good beat - I just got up from my desk and danced to it.

Helps that the sun is finally out here.

The good news is that the Black Keys is evolving their sound.  The bad news is, I hate what where they are going, based on this song.

I enjoy the characteristic Black Keys sound but the lyrics lack depth and ingenuity and tell the same story over and over again.  I give it a 6.  Maybe it'll grow on me.

Hey holdup. I'm catching that bus too.

Never thought I'd PSD the Black Keys. If this album is on pre-order, they can keep it.
Dig it - gets an 8 from me.

80s-ish and fun.
well those comments do run the gamut...

I heard it yesterday on a Rolling Stone promo and quit listening halfway thru. It's fine for what it is... another Black Keys song. Not my favorite, and despite the breathless RS headline, I don't hear any deviation from their past sound. But it's a lot better here on RP, with segues to help it along. I gave it a 7.
Hot off the press!!

I like where they're going with this. Talented guys.
