There was only black space
Life lived in negative
Couldn't find my color
And there was only one place

You turned a light on
Turned a light on
To me
You gave me reason
For me to hold on
I came alive then
It made me feel
Like you
You turned a light on
Turned a light on
Well I could hope all I wanted
If I prayed then I would
I trusted you with everything

There's a bit of Siouxsie in that vocal mix, love it
what a refreshing tune from KT - love it
I know she's not saying "Julie" but it still sounds like that to me.

Love the voice. Or the smooth digital mix of the voice. But overall the track is not the recognizably KT style. It's kind of generic. I'll start it with a 6, but it's not likely a tune that I can turn on very often.

I thought it might be Suzanne Vega. Love the lyrics.

This fabulous Celtic gal continues to AMAZE me... So many styles, so many ways she uses her incredible voice and musical talents!

True enough. The brash, brassy-voiced Fife lassie of her first 3 albums has now been absorbed by mainstream pop and is sadly indistinguishable from so many ho-hum artists who shouldn't be fit to lace up her kinky boots. Sad :(
