The dawn has come
And the wine will run
And the song must be sung
And the flowers are melting
In the sun

I feel I want to be up on the roof
I feel I gotta get up on the roof
Up, up on the roof
Up, up on the roof

Oh the dawn has come
And the song must be sung
And the flowers are melting
What kind of language is this?
What kind of language is this?
I can't hear a word you're saying
Tell me what you are singing
In the sun

All of the birds are laughing
All of the birds are laughing
Come on let's all join in
Come on let's all join in

I want to be up on the roof
I've gotta be up on the roof
Up, up high on the roof
Up, up on the roof
In the sun

Every time anything from this show comes on I get a little despondent about how I couldn't go. Life is short, and this will surely never happen again.

That last album, the Aerial suite, is such a wonderful piece of work. The Art of Art Rock.

"I wanna be up, up on the roof." She is the Aerial as the sun comes up to start the new, wonderful, day - surrounded by birds laughing. The whole suite is a delicate mediation on the joy of being alive.

My wife and I had 6 hits on Ticketmaster.uk for Kate's "Before the Dawn" shows.  One on our 25th anniversary, no less.   Lesson to be learned - tell your bank that you will be making an international purchase BEFORE logging on.   My cry of dismay at not being one of the lucky ones flying to London woke up the neighborhood at 03:00am here in the states - stupid banks...stupid me.

Lost opportunity, Lessons learned.

Now, no more live Kate - ever.

Thanks for keeping her in our hearts and ears Bill!
Whatever she does... I'll love it. She can do no bad in my book. Unconditional love.
That bird must be saying hilarious shit.
I know I am supposed to like this, but I don't. Sorry folks, I keep trying but it just doesn't do it for me....must mean I am the broken thing?

Yeah, I couldn't tell if it sounded more like "I Started A Joke" or "You Should Be Dancing".
Kate Bush is still fantastic-OK her voice has lost a little dynamic range but It doesn't detract it makes her more accessible I feel.
Jeebus. This Sky of Honey sequence is so amazing.

The birds, the ocean. And now she wants to be up on the roof - the aerial.

Contemporary pop music is so much shit. And this is so fantastic.
So much more interesting than that "running up that hill" tripe.
One of the most amazing artists of our time.
Do they sell what she is on in 6 packs?
she's channelling the BeeGees

Great double album - fun to sit and listen through the whole thing.  SO wish I could have attended - it would have been/was VERY special!

weird... the birds didn't sound fake.
Now that was pretty awesome.
I found it a little long winded.
