Nobody's talking so the graves they rose up!
And walked away
What's the point in this futile
Like reptiles we'll all soon be
Dust someday...
Someday
Like all godless children
The young bloods are bleeding to
Find their way
Let's not mess with their future our past revolutions have
Somehow failed
For once in this life
Let's' just make these wrongs right and then
Seize the day
We woke up!
We woke up!
Yeah, we woke up!
We woke up!
And we won't fall back to sleep
Desperation, creators, begrudgers, the haters all
Disapper
Thre's no joy in salvation
When souls are deflated so
Keep the faith
For once in this life
Let's' just make these wrongs right and then
Seize the day
Where lessons are lessons
To be taught when we learn to say
That we woke up!
We woke up!
Yeah, we woke up!
We woke up!
Ah! Sing me a song where the voices are strong and the Earth
The Earth in shakes
From the thunder so loud to the rebels we found still awake
Sing it!
We woke up!
Yeah, we woke up!
We woke up!
I said that
We woke up!
We woke up!
We woke up!
We woke up!
And we won't fall back to sleep
And walked away

Laughable. Trying so hard to be so intense.

A group that should be more famous then it us now
A great live band. Just party.
Comically earnest

Great to hear this song today! The governor of Texas finally mandated wearing masks in public and President Bolsonaro of Brazil finally put one on. These days, I celebrate consciousness in whatever form it bubbles up. WE woke up!
Seized the PSD button.

First time here for me on RP. I'm not fond of the music, it's a 5, but in this day and age and time, because of the lyrics and vibe, I'm giving this song a 9. H8rs take a hike. It's at least a 7 for the cover alone, without hearing one damn note.
Saw these guys about 20 years ago in Chicago on St. Pat's. The absolutely loudest experience in my life. So loud it erased whatever memory of the show that may have thought to have wanted to linger.
Wow, that sucked.
More Flogging Molly, PLEASE!!!
Surprised to see this is Flogging Molly. It's pretty terrible. 3 for now.
Nice protest song.
Lovely, Flogging Molly!!!
God this is mediocre at best. I'm surprised he is playing it.
Although I hate this kind of things, it is well-done.
I hate it, anyway.

I just bumped my 1 - rating all the way up to a 5-rating.
Still not my favorite tune, I think the bump is most likely due to another well crafted BillG set-list.
LLRP!!

Well, go back to sleep, you're making to much damn noise!
Ooof. Singer seems to be trying too hard.
No thanks. It sounds like a crappy 90's hair band to me... one with really literal lyrics. Think Twisted Sister. I do like the album cover though.
Flogging Molly? Kinda like Spanking the Monkey
what video are you guys talking about?
I like Flogging Molly but I'm not sure this is one of their better songs.
Thank you anyway to share this song, i've checked the video because the comments, so....it's a Song, not very common, and into the Lyrics Market jungle a wrong word is deadly for an artist. The thing is that an author to get through with a protest song is not even "free" to use some words because could be too heavy for the people and the system as well...not even the freedom of protest...
The sang in the begin took me don't know why somewhere in 60's (video confirmed) ... maybe is too strong and squared but in the end at second listen, if it'd have some of Born in the U.S.A. popularity maybe the world could start to be a better place, btw as somebody sang, something like a " just singing a song won't save this world " N.Y.

ugh.
Love FM - but this style is well outside of their wheelhouse.
I don't have a problem with artists evolving their sound, but this track didn't do much for me.

Horrible....and I appreciate the commentary about the inspiring video Bill.
While the video may be great, for me RP is about innovative and high quality music, I do not hear that on this track. However, I appreciate the video may be a better expression for this song.
