First hearing, I'll give it 8 because of the mention of the Tasmanian Devil. but I'm not parochial at all.

Judging by 'her' screen name, I'm going to assume she's a Christian, and a devoted one. Her post is based on her religious beliefs, along with millions of others on the planet, and she is entitled to that opinion, even though she misinterpreted the comment she replied to. Love it when they sing a single line of The Auld Triangle. Made me jump over to listening to Luke Kelly and the Dubliners after the song ended. Man, Luke could blow... RIP.

From seeing them on Later with Jools Holland a while back, I can say that they have more than a Casio keyboard, though they do try to replicate a fairly 'naive' sound for all their love of electronics (the band name, I've heard, comes from a key combo on Apple's Garage Band app). The quirky voice and percussion always get my attention. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but it's always worth listening to. On first listen, I like it a lot. Might grow massively on me, this one.
Really like this one, I just find it really unique and cool. People may not like the "ya yas" but i find them unique

Just saw Alt J live. This band is outstanding...some of the most interesting musical creations I've heard in years.

Alt-J is still pretty new to me, and outside of Tessellate, I don't think I could name another song of theirs that I like. I did find their NPR "tiny desk concerts" amusing, https://youtu.be/8zHdLF3-coA?t=10s - and I really appreciate their willingness to do this sort of 'gig' - maybe I'll start liking them more. I still can't get over the feeling that they're a middle school band playing with a $100 Casio keyboard. Maybe that's what to love about them?
