Just one drop on the nips
We are more than equipped
There are some thirsts
That got to be quenched
All we want is to feel
That feeling again
We didn't reach a high
It was always inside
We just coaxed it
From the place it would hide
We move in fear
We move in desire
Now I know how you feel
I am a pilgrim, you are the shrine too
All the lovers before us
Had breathed, breathed in this ether
Where the body goes
The mind will follow soon after
All we want is to know
The vivid moment
And how we feel now was felt
By the ancients
Yeah, all we want is to know
This vivid moment
So surrender your lips
To my every whim, we are lovers
We are cartwheeling
We move in fear
We move in desire
Now I know how you feel
I am a pilgrim, you are the shrine too
All the lovers before us
Had breathed, breathed in this ether
Where the body goes
The mind will follow soon after
This a Mecca now, this a Mecca now now now
This a Mecca now, this a Mecca now now now
This a Mecca now, Mecca Mecca now now now
How we feel now was felt
By the ancients

I really like this song, and I actually prefer the lyrics just as they are written.
lol pretty sure that lyric is "just one drop on the lips" not the nips. Wow.

I love this. I love everything about it. But there is something about the bass at 2:00 that grabs me and will not let me go.
Delightfully original, musically and lyrically.
Unfortunately I just find this song annoying. And it’s played so often too

something about this melody and his voice, makes me feel nostalgic. I'm a sucker for a little strings lick!

Interesting comments at 10 months of play.
This tune was been catching my attention. It is catchy, and somehow with a name like (hear it) Mecca... I hear McCartney from the get go. Seems there has been cross pollination.
I like it a lot, I like the McCarnetneyesque aspect of the song.
Cheers to the Wild Beasts!

Both sides are committing violence, but only one side seeks out civilians, babies and even fetuses in the womb and then revels in their suffering and death.
My goodness, it's a poignant setlist this morning. It's so sad watching the news at the moment. The small minorities on both sides committing the atrocious violence against innocent civilians need more music in their lives.

Thought this was gonna be a remix of U2's Discotheque with that wail in the background

Not quite sure what to make of this tune after hearing it all the way through.
Going to wait to rate for now.
Wow make it 4 new tunes today.
My stream cut-out so I missed quite a bit of it.

I didn't expect a cover of a Wild Beast's tune today, thank you!
The sixties called. They want their acid back.
