In her favorite locket, hiding yellow pills
With white wine to chase them, lying on the hills
We kissed until we couldn't breathe
The coldest sand is on the beach
Now she's in her swimsuit with the yellow straps
Cutting it with scissors 'til there's nothing left
And rubbing sunscreen on her breasts
She's putting on her sunglasses
I could win, I could lose
But that's a look I can't refuse
I could win, I could lose
But that's a look I can't refuse
Stop waiting
I could win, I could lose
But that's a look I can't refuse
I could win, I could lose
But that's a look I can't refuse
Stop waiting

OMG. Is the new “Talk Talk”?
Funny, I thought this was interesting when I first heard it and an easy "7." It has not aged well, now it has become flat and a bit boring and I tend to skip it.
That almost never happens for me, going down over time but this has dropped to a "6" and could teeter at "5" depending on my mood.

Do not operate heavy machinery while listening to this tune.

Sensual...
RP has 2 weaknesses in their rotation:
1. Generic good looking female singers with generic songs. Seems to come mostly from Scandinavia.
2. Hipster whisper.
There is nothing eclectic about this hipster whisper music. The groove is nice but the song itself has no substance.

I'm trying, but keep coming to "meh." Sounds like the whole thing might grind to a halt at any moment. I get the "dreaminess" attempt, but there's not enough richness to what's going on to keep my attention.
Cigarettes After Sex is best taken in small doses, preferably once a month.
Good god, I’m drifting off in that opium den haze…
sounds like someone who just recently came back to life. 👎
Dream pop? I know it certainly puts me to sleep.

is the bass distorted for anyone else on this?

Was catchy the first few times, but losing it's shine on me now.

Nope. Sounds like nap time for me. To monotone. I get it, but not for me. Especially live. Skip.

Every single day? I also don’t think this is particularly good, but even if I did, this is way overplayed
+1 for Cool Band Name

It's OK, but a couple of minutes too long for me.

Since the year isn't showing on the legacy RP site, it's a July 2023 release.

This one is ok .. but SWEET is the one.

Every time this song starts, it takes a while for me to realise it is not a cover of Radiohead's Let Down.
I'd like to hear a different trick from this pony.
A sensual song sounds like a slowmotion of a Angus & Julia Stone's song
Sounds like the other song we hear on RP often - hard to hear much difference. And given what Hayley shared in another comment, apparently this is not surprising. That said, this is pleasant enough and a "7" for me.
Always liked his music on radio paradise, so I went to his concert a few months ago. Was disappointed for several reasons:
1) he played in a 1/2 stadium and it was not a packed show, when I feel his intimate style would have been better showcased in a more intimate venue
2) the songs start to sound exactly the same when played back to back vs mixed into a playlist, makes you realize that there is little variety in his repertoire
3) audience was primarily gen z, leading to a sea of screens filming most of the concert. not just for a few seconds in a song here & there, but full songs... worst I've ever experienced at a concert so far

I know this guy's voice is not to everyone's taste, but I absolutely love it!
"Do you smoke after sex?"
" I dunno, I never looked."
Very nice!

I think 'bla' is more like it
