Too many words
Stuck in my head
Nothing is easy
Not enough time
Nothing inside
Painted in black
Losing the feeling
And the water drowns me out
But the silence breaks the sound
Voices are rising
Just let it out right now
Tears that you're hiding
Just let 'em all fall down
And I'll sing till my heart makes a sound
And I'll sing till my heart's breaking out
Voices are rising
Give me a sign
Throw me a line
Open the door
I need to be there
I wanna know
I wanna feel
Open my heart
Just let me in now
And the water drowns me out
But the silence screams so loud
Voices are rising
Just let it out right now
Tears that you're hiding
Just let 'em all fall down
And I'll sing till my heart makes a sound
And I'll sing till my heart's breaking out
Voices are rising
Rising
And I'll sing till my heart makes a sound
And I'll sing till my heart's breaking out
And I'll sing till my heart makes a sound
And I'll sing till my heart's breaking out
And I'll sing till my heart's breaking out
As much as I sympathize, I won't rate a song based on current events. If I didn't know they were from Ukraine, what would I rate this? I think a 6 is fair.
Yep. It's worth maybe a 6, being fairly generic MOR rock.
Ignore the Russian bots. Defy Putin’s puppets. Give this song a 10 as a middle finger to the authoritarians.
Вакарчук, чому не в окопі, ухилянт? На нуль шуруй, каструля непридатна
And this from someone who has rated exactly one song—this one. He rated it sucko bardo. Troll. Maybe even a bot?
Given how I feel about Ukraine's plight I can't help but to rate this a 10, yes there are better songs out there, but this captures a moment, a feeling that gives hope to me.
We live in an age of monsters, celebrate the humans when you can.
Based only on my first listen my inclination was to rate this song at "7". Then I considered the fact that English is undoubtably not the singer's first language and I bumped it up to an "8". Then I considered the lyrics and the war torn country of origin, and I settled on a "9".
The listeners who rated this song a "1" actually made me a bit angry, but then I considered that there may be a few patriotic Russians on this site. As long as those listeners are packing their bags to work for the Red Cross in that region, I guess I can forgive them.
so everyone should love this song - otherwise they are russian vatniks and should do something/go somewhere to make you forgive them? do yo feel well?

And you as well.
