The chord changes are sweet!
Play it again, and again.
Just what the fuck is this song about?

It's about sparkling harmonics, brilliant bridges and modulations from one key to another. It's about the music.
And the new kid in town.

Geez, it's pretty obvious. Do you not understand English and/or read much?

Well, if you really want to know, it's a song about a New Kid in Town. It's right there in the title.
This album happens to hold very special and specific memories for me, circa 1993.

That'd be an interesting story to read, Laurie! Fill us in...
This is one of those super-overplayed songs ground down by FM radio, but it's still good to hear. I didn't think much of The Eagles back then, but yes they have a great sound and amazing harmonies...it's almost too smooth, but right now I'm grumpy-hungry.
And now the Purple One. : (
This was just added here (or played for the first time) today...too bad it had to be under sad circumstances.
Just scrolled through the Eagles roster of songs here, and the majority of them have never been played. Guess that makes up for the
40+ year onslaught we've had on terrestrial radio.
And this has been always a very special song to me, for no particular reason just I enjoyed a lot when playing this album at home, ... now I feel that I can share it, thanks Bill! Big thanks Glenn your music is still with us!
and Lemmy...... but Keith Richards lives on.
In a dark corner of a dusty attic somewhere in Bizarro world, a portrait of Keef never ages.
Bowie, Alan Rickman and now Glenn Frey?
All in the last few days and all in their late 60s?
I will just echo the sentiments below and say Rest in Peace, Glenn.
And yes, great tune.

Still regret going on that fucking holiday to this day..
