...now it's playing an amount of time ahead of the info... 3 short songs ahead... just one pink floyd david gilmour song ahead (info caught up while it was playing)
still happening today... started ok, but after the jack white song william said some things, then robert plant played, but elbow was listed... i was like well maybe elbow sounds like this, but then the info changed to robert plant & i knew i was out of sync again... makes it hard to rate songs.
today it's like somebody hit the shuffle... playlist isn't in order, tho the songs are on there (so far)
The playlist is back in sync and everything went well for a few songs, but now I'm hearing Cosmo Sheldrake being mixed together with another song, and it's a total cacophony.

I noticed some of the lyrics were missing to Bob Dylan's tune "It's Alright, Ma" on the RP info page for that song. There is an entire verse missing (between "choruses"). It's the second from last verse, which begins after the line "I got nothing, Ma, to live up to" and ends just before the line "Old lady judges watch people in pairs". So just recently I'm unable to download any cache blocks beyond 12 hours on my Android phone...never had this issue before...any suggestions to correct this situation? And yes I have plenty of data space remaining in my external storage micro SD Card. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. Thanks!
My kindle Fire has stopped downloading streams. My old de-googled phone and my new one both seem to do it fine. I'm not sure what to do as the old phone has a sketchy USB power connection and I use my Fire for music at work. I'll run out of stream next week, and work radio needs a sound jack to work (new phone one of those missing such)
Android app user here and the last few times I've downloaded a cache block, I've ended up with the same set of songs each time. They are not bad songs mind you but I've not come across this issue in the past. Just hoping to mix it up a bit. Thanks for all of RP's great work.
It seems like the Main Mix, and only the Main Mix, is not streaming, or for some reason has no sound. The other channels I tried seem OK. This is on the website and on the Android app.
I hope this is a reasonable place to report an outage, I didn't see a more obvious place.
on Sonos it appears to be on an eight-song endless loop again.
Sonos has gone to shit for all sorts of (self-inflicted) reasons, so I'm not sure if it's from their shitty apps or a true RP glitch.
It's not just the app, it's the firmware updates, too. You might try the web app, though. It seems to be the most stable for me, although with some obnoxious lags and shitty interface.
There appears to have been a major outage, nothing worked for me during the past few hours, the website was unresponsive and the web streams gave silence. The main stream is back now (although not in sync with What's Playing) and the website is obviously working again, or we wouldn't be posting this ð
I guess the rest will also come back pretty soon.
Thank you for the comment. ATM, all streams are playing for me, but they only display the channel name, not the artist and song, as they used to do. I wonder whether we can get a technical explanation of the problem.

Hi, it looks like the streams are mostly not working properly. I can hear the "banner" in a loop, eg. "This is the Mellow Mix on Radio Paradise", and again, and again, but no music. The Rock Mix is also dead, and the World Mix doesn't work, either. I'm referring to the aac-128, mellow-128 and rock-128 streams.

I have been listening to RP for about 20 years. Untill now I have never found an issue that required a post untill now. I just purchased an incredible pair of new headphones. I have always loved your audio quality and your soft-handed audio processing.
I have an audio background and have worked with many radio automation systems. If my memory is correct, your system is custom and your transitions between songs may be very different from systems I have worked with.
But armed with my wonderful new headphones, I am now painfully aware that often your transitions are inconsistent. Sometimes songs fade into silence. And other times songs are cut off in mid fade. Rarely do songs segue into the next. But occasionally the transition is quite artful.
When songs are cut off in mid-fade, the magic of the music is degraded. I hope your audio magicians will pay more attention to this small aspect of building your playlists.
