I'd like to request that some Kimarie Sky get added. The four songs on her recent EP 'Petrichor' are lovely.

Figured this would be the best place to post this
Just found the app, which led me to the site. Absolutely love it, although I think having an EDM channel would be cool, or just in the mix. Some good artist are Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Timmy TrumpetDeadmau5, DJ Isaas, Brennen Heart, and Martin Garrix. Don't think not doing so diminishes my view of what y'all do, I do have another app I use for that just be nice to have an all in one app deal. Currently I am unemployed, but do plan on donating as soon as I get steady work again.

And again, I wouldn't be disappointed if y'all don't, I'm already very pleased with the mix you provide. Can't live on EDM alone, sooner or later you need something "organic"

I'm looking at you, Paul Simon (sometimes). Yeah, you too Van Morrison.

And then there is the stuff I can't really deal with for reasons other than someone's political, social, or sexual shortcomings. I usually can't deal with listening to Eliot Smith or Amy Winehouse because they pissed me off so much by corkscrewing themselves into the ground. I mean those fuckers could have learned from the experience of the earlier generations of rock and roll deaths.

I remember that as well - at least there was a point where you could send in recommendations. I love this idea and hope it continues in some way. On the other hand, as RP transitions to the next generation, we may set our expectations so that we account for them having their hands full and thus may not be available for a bit.

I would love to hear something from "suede". (they are known in US as London Suede). You have the band in your artist list, but wiki and website links aren't up to date: www.suede.co.uk; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/suede_(band) . Their music fits Radio Paradise music style and music variety of genres (britpop, 90th). Most know song: The Beautiful Ones" but many other are good to hear: Animal Nitrate, Life Is Golden, etc. Thanks!!!

It's
such a slippery slope with this stuff. I like Adams' music. A lot,
actually. Past rumors about his behavior make it pretty much impossible

But, man, if we start purging all of
the artists whose behaviors we dislike there's not going to be a lot
left. Rock 'n' roll and bad behavior often occupy the same space.

I agree; went thru this a few years ago with the Kim Fowley

covers.

Hi people,

I hope I have posted this in the correct place. If not could the moderator please move it to the correct location.

I'd like to request an addition to the wonderful RP library, The artist is Sixto Rodriguez.

He did not do to well in USA or UK during the 70's but he sold more than Elvis Presley in South Africa where he acquired what can only be described as a cult following.
I will hold back the rest of this artists story and let you all discover him and leave you with a documentary suggestion and song.

Searching for the Sugar Man, A wonderful Documentary about the whole story

Sugar Man, His biggest hit

Wikipedia entry for Sixto Rodriguez

Official website

There are two of his songs on the playlist, including "Sugar Man".

Yes, we've played him a fair amount in the past. I found his stuff to be OK enough, but not really that special — might be worth another try, though. The response from RP listeners was pretty good.

Thanks for point this out guy's

Yea you right, but the child porn site he paid to join still happened regardless of the details and if that had happened to you or I without a high priced lawyer we would be rotting in jail so that is the most lame part of all that, but again he still is a great guitar player and songwriter.

Yea, I am one to completely separate the artist from the art.  For instance I am not going to stop listening to The Who just because Pete Townsend is a pedophile and if you like Michael Jackson's music, keep listening there is nothing wrong with that.  I happen to really like Ryan Adams music, he can rot in jail for what he does as a human being but I will gladly keep listening to his music. {#Music}
